The Pennsylvania Department of Education provides information on nutrition for parents and educators.

Healthy Children
Provides vital information for parents of children of all ages concerning child development and health.

Keystone Kids Go
Focuses on improving the nutrition and exercise of young children.

The Pennsylvania Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics (PA AAP)
Offers programs that address critical issues including injury prevention, immunization, oral health, obesity prevention, prevention of child abuse and neglect, behavioral health, special health care needs, health and safety in early childhood learning centers, adolescent needs, and emergency preparedness.

The Period of PURPLE Crying
Includes information, handouts, and brochures for parents, and videos and suggestions for soothing crying babies.

Safe to Sleep Campaign
Provides handouts and brochures for parents are available on the website. Campaign focuses on helping to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and other sleep-related causes of infant death.

Offers information on infant and child mental health resources for parents and early childhood professionals.

The Children’s Advocacy Project of America (CAP4Kids)

Education Leading to Employment and Career Training (ELECT)
Provides expectant and parenting teens with guidance and services designed to break the cycle of welfare dependence through setting goals, fostering self-sufficiency, building healthy relationships, and obtaining a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Parent to Parent of Pennsylvania
Connects families of children and adults with special needs or disabilities who have had similar journeys.

PEAL Center
Organization of parents of children with special health care needs and disabilities reaching out to assist other parents and professionals.

The Pennsylvania KEY
Provides a complete list by county of all early childhood professional development events; early learning in Pennsylvania; keys to quality; career development; community outreach; and early childhood programs.

Pennsylvania’s Promise for Children
Helps families make good choices about their child’s early learning and choose quality early learning programs that are right for their family.
